Microblading & Permanent Makeup
The convenient solution to your hours-of-makeup-application dilemma. Ditch your traditional makeup and get permanent makeup done to save time and feel beautiful everyday.
Microblading
Fall in love with your brows and get rid of that brow pencil. Microblading is the deposit of pigment appearing as hair-like strokes using small blades/needles.
Ombre Powder Brows
Want your eyebrows to look like you powdered them on everyday? Ombre powder brows is your solution. A machine is used to achieve the ombre look on your brows—lighter in the front and darker at the end of the brow.

Permanent Lip Makeup
Permanent Lip Makeup is the alternative to lip injections. Get your lips blushed or get a full tint to enhance your natural lip color and give your lips an illusion of being bigger.

Microblading & Permanent Makeup FAQ
The technician will use extremely small blades to make tiny incisions in your skin which deposits pigment to look like hair-like strokes. The pigment is chosen based on your desired look and the color that best suits your natural brow.
Microblading on average takes about two hours because a lot of the time is spent on measuring and drawing on a symmetrical set of brows and agreeing on your perfect shape and color. The actual procedure itself takes 30 min to one hour.
Microblading is reportedly much less painful than a traditional tattoo. Most people report little or no pain. The technician typically puts numbing cream on your eyebrows before the procedure to make the process as pain-free as possible.
Day 1: a few hours after treatment, blot your eyebrows with a cotton pad and a drop of sterile water 2-3 times.
Day 2-4: Wash your eyebrows with some sterile water and a cotton pad. Repeat 2-4 times per day. After cleaning your brows apply a thin layer of an ointment.
Day 5-10: wash gently, dry, moisturize.
Microblading is absolutely worth it! Especially if you have sparse patches, thin and weak brows, or if you find yourself having to do your brow makeup everyday. It lasts anywhere from 1-3 years and if you get it done by a great esthetician, it will look natural and full.
You can exercise 7 days after microblading. You can do light exercises before the 7 days are up, but be sure to do exercises that will have minimal sweating because the salt in your sweat will fade the pigment and give poor results.
You can get your eyebrows wet 10 days after microblading.
You can shower immediately after microblading, but be sure to keep your face away from the shower head and protect your eyebrows from the water. It is okay to wash your brows with a cotton pad or Q-tip with very minimal water, but the water from the shower would be too much and you will lose the pigment from your brows.
You can wash your face right after microblading but be sure to avoid your eyebrow area. It is recommended to use a cotton pad or q-tip to clean your eyebrows so washing your face with a bunch of water is not recommended. If you find a way to protect your eyebrows while showering and washing your face, that will be the best option to keep the pigment in your eyebrows.
Do not wear makeup for at least a week after microblading.
Microblading does fade over time. Typically the look will last for 1-3 years depending on your skin type and the care you take into your brows.
It is not a great idea to get microblading while pregnant because there is an increased risk of infection and healing can take longer in pregnant women. The hormone levels in pregnant women are altered and pregnant women can bleed more. The more you bleed, the less pigment is absorbed which will change the final result of your microblading. Often, the microblading aesthetician uses a topical anesthetic that is not safe for the baby.
Do not work out 24 hours before microblading. No alcohol or caffeine 48 hours before and avoid sun and tanning for one week prior. No botox treatments for 3 weeks prior to microblading. No chemical peels for 60 days before microblading. Stop taking aspirin, niacin, vitamin E, fish oil, CoQ10 and ibuprofen 48 hours before the procedure. No waxing or tinting before 3 days prior to the appointment. Do not tan or have a sunburnt face the day of the appointment.
The first day after microblading, your eyebrows will be very bold and full. The color may seem extremely dark and you may have redness, tenderness, mild swelling, mild bleeding, and the sensation of feeling cut or bruised. By day 5, your eyebrows will begin to scab and be flakey and itchy. Be sure to not pick the scab or itch as it will remove the pigment if you do so. Let the scabs flake off naturally. The color becomes less bold by day 8. The flaking will gradually stop and the color will return between day 8-12. From day 12-21 your eyebrows will look even and more natural and the individual brow hairs will look more defined.
Permanent lip makeup generally lasts for 3-5 years or longer depending on the color.
Lip permanent makeup can hurt because our lips are very sensitive, even more so than our fingertips, but your artist typically will apply a numbing agent to reduce the pain.
Place nothing on your lips except your aftercare product. That includes no makeup, cream or water.
A protective scab will form on your lips: be sure to dab the fluid that comes out from your lips with a sterile gauze pad.
After 24 hours, clean your lips with mild warm water and mild soap (non-alcohol soap). Use patting motions only!
Do not pick or peel off the scab as this can cause pigment to be lost.
Keep your lips moist with the aftercare product at all times. Apply aftercare ointment with a cotton swab. You can discontinue the aftercare ointment once all the scabs are gone.
Do not eat spicy foods or hot liquids for 48 hours after your permanent lip makeup procedure.
Do not get toothpaste on your lips and do not bleach your teeth until your lips are healed.
Do not exercise or sweat for one week after the procedure
Do not expose your lips to sun for 3-4 weeks after the procedure
